Dr. John Landgraf was born in Detroit with music in his soul. At 12 he soloed with the Detroit Symphony, at 14 toured Europe with Youth for Christ International and played for the Billy Graham Crusade in Belfast, at 16 graduated from high school as valedictorian. After receiving a Moody Bible Institute diploma at 19 and a degree from Wheaton College at 21, he married and launched his next fulltime career as an evangelist! He received his Ph.D. in pastoral psychology. John has been a parish pastor; hospital chaplain; musical director; convener of couples workshops and retreats; counselor to hundreds of individuals and couples regarding identity, lifestyle, career development and ethical decisions; and professor to students at UC Berkeley, the Graduate Theological Union and Fuller Seminary. His third book, Singling, has enjoyed seven printings. Laura Landgraf, the child of pioneer missionaries, lived in the mountain highlands of Ethiopia. . At 19 she developed a successful business model for medical practices and became a consultant, followed by being a full time Mom for 17 years. As a Minister of Music, she developed a children's choir program adopted by the University of Oregon. She worked with the Victim's Assistant Program, led support groups for The Center for Missing and Exploited Children, and trained faculty psychologists in child abuse patterns, crisis intervention and therapies. Laura began, built, and sold a national investment company. She then focused her efforts on analyzing marketing and management systems .She coached systems and leadership development, performance, style and talent retention. Her warmth, intuitive understanding of core relational issues and family systems effectively guides the course of each couples retreat.
