He was soon performing regularly with all three of his mentors' various ensembles, as well as in the Pan Afrikan Peoples Arkestra. A man of deep faith and commitment to his craft, Miranda is noted for his inventive, high-energy improvisations that showcase his gifted range between the Afro-Latino congas his father, Louis "Pacquito" Miranda, loved to play to European classical music he learned under Bob Stone, Peter Mercurio and Dennis Trembly. Most recently, Miranda has been performing regularly with anther one of his mentors, jazz legend Kenny Burrell. "YOU HAVE TO DIG IT TO DIG IT"!!!
