2013 is the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther Kings "I Have a Dream" Speech in Washington D.C. However, in my opinion, the final moments of "Ive Been to the Mountain Top" were his most POWERFUL, meaningful words ever. It was his FINAL speech. He was assasinated the next day. In this broadcast, we play the last 20 minutes of that speech. It was delivered on April 3rd, 1968 and MLK was addressing the issue of the Black striking sanitation workers in Memphis, TN. For an analysis of the final 3 minutes of this speech, with specific emphasis on his 5 hour meeting with the Hon. Elijah Muhammad in 1966 that I believe profoundly changed his philosphies on race, civil rights and perhaps even God, go to my on line ministry "Up You Mighty Nation" at www.blogtalkradio.com/noic.
