What a week - and its just beginning! Join us in welcoming extraordinary vocalist Hilary Kole to the show on January 22nd! Hilary has come a LONG way from her days at the Manhattan School of Music. She was the youngest singer to perform at the illustrious Rainbow Room. And she has been welcomed with open arms in New York since - and worldwide, having played a number of prestigious Jazz Festivals. We are talking about a singer who sings in the venues that some have only dreamed of visiting. Birdland, Blue Note, Iridium, Carnegie Hall, and Lincoln Center. Hilary Kole is THAT kind of performer. When you hear "Haunted Heart" (produced by John Pizzarelli) and her latest, "You Are There (Duets)", you will hear the magnitude of this talent. Kenny Barron, Michel Legrand, Monty Alexander, and the late Dave Brubeck heard it. They are all on the Duests project. And the late Oscar Peterson heard that voice, too, as Hilary was part of a tribute concert for him - in both the USA and Canada. She has worked with the very best in Jazz and American Songbook legends. And has garnered respect for her multiple gifts - both privately and publicly. When you visit her website, youll see the quotes. And hear Hilary. She will visit the show during the second hour on Tuesday, 1/22. The music starts at one p.m. Eastern - and in that mix, there will be songs from this beautiful "triple threat" (well explain!). This year is on a roll, so far - lets keep this amazing Jazz coming! www.hilarykole.com
