Born and raised in New York City Chris worked a variety of jobs after high school such as a printer, bartender and real estate. After getting married he and his wife moved to Florida, where again he had a variety of different jobs, ranging from construction, selling vacuums door to door to auto sales, before opening his own mortgage business. When the housing melt down hit things went downhill in a hurry. Chris went from doing 6-7 loans a month to 5 a year, after maxing out all his credit cards and using what savings he had to stay afloat, Chris eventually lost the business, along with having his car repossessed and being evicted from his apartment. However, his biggest humiliation was when he had to call his ex-wife for a place to live, probably the lowest point of his life. Faced with few options Chris turned to the only thing available, the computer. Not being computer savvy, he had to sit at the computer 7-9 hours a day, it turned out to be the most frustrating and aggravating thing he ever did. But Chris found the courage to reinvent himself, and now, at age 60, he enjoy being An Entrepreneur, Public Speaker, Trainer and Author, as well as having a series of videos on YouTube called Over 50 And Broke and a web-site with the same name. His latest book titled "Age Should Never Be An Excuse For Not Succeeding" Restoring Hope In Your life, is now available on Amazon. Chris wrote this book for all those Baby Boomers out there who find themselves over 50 and broke, just as he was. Like he always tell his kids, “When something bad happens in life, you can do one of two things. You can sit in the corner and cry about it, or you can get off your butt and do something about it, the choice is yours.”
