With Sundays race being on a short track, it has been a quiet week for the most part in the world of NASCAR. But, things certainly will heat up as for the first time in 2013, Lugnuts and Horsepower will be the direct lead-in to the race, as this week its a Saturday night shootout for Sprint Cup competition. Patti Rodisch has hosting duties this week, and not to be outdone Dustin Parks and Rob Blount are in their respective stalls in the garage and ready to talk news. Its been an interesting and exciting two weeks in motorsports. There was all the news in NASCAR leading into Martinsville, and now just as big of news leading out of it. The format for the unique dirt race for the Truck Series has been revealed, and this trio will have a lot to say about it. Not to mention, NASCAR has a new test for the new Gen-6 car as in higher speeds on a higher-banked track at Texas. Should make picking a winner deep in cattle country very interesting, but you know these three certainly are ready to choose. Its a 6 p.m. ET/5 p.m. CT start once again, so tune in and see this trio put on their boots and hats as they head south for racing.
