John has degrees in Business Administration and History from the State University of New York at Buffalo (1992) and John has served as a Law enforcement office, and teacher, and also served in the United State Marine Corps. In 2001 John was ordained to the office of "High Priest" in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Melchizedek Priesthood, and was a member of Stake High Council.
