Fruit of the Spirit Series: Love This month we are studying the Fruit of the Spirit Love. The Scriptures in 1 John 4 will be the outline for our studies on love Week 1 - Love comes from God Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. 1 John 4: 7-8 Week 2 - Love includes forgiveness This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 1 John 4: 10 Week 3 - Love overcomes fear and promotes healing There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. 1 John 4: 18 Week 4 - Testimonies of Gods Love Join Everyday Wisdom for Families in the Remember the Bible Challenge. The challenge is: Memorize 1 Bible verse or passage per month. Doesnt sound like a lot? Over the 4 weeks of each month we will learn how to memorize a verse, study the verse in depth & learn how to apply the verse to our lives. The focus is on placing the Word of God Deep into our hearts & minds, Creating healing & life change. Allowing the Word of God to become powerful & alive in your life (Heb 4:12). We encourage everyone listening to share their stories of how Gods Word has changed their lives.
