Frank Cipolla is an award winning radio and television news broadcaster from Queens, New York. He began his career while attending St Johns University where he worked on the schools radio and TV stations. Upon graduating, Cipolla was hired as news director for WCRV in Washington, New Jersey and WJDM in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Cipolla would then move on to become the afternoon news anchor for the Soupy Sales radio show on WNBC. In 1996, Cipolla launched the first live call-in news talk show at Time Warner Cable in Staten Island. He was subsequently hired by News 12 New Jersey to co-host the popular Morning Edition with Mizar Turdiu. The anchor has chronicled his 30 years in the broadcasting industry in the 2011 book It Shocked Even Us! And More Crazy Stories Covering Local News. He has also made guest appearances on WTNH Morning Show, Better Connecticut FWSB TV Channel 3, and the Alan Colmes Show. In April, 2005 Cipolla was inducted into the Christ the King High School Hall of Fame. Cipolla currently lives with his wife in New Jersey and works for the Wall Street Journal Radio Network. His bi-hourly reports can be heard on hundreds of stations coast to coast.
